Early Life and Education

Phuti Khomo was born on June 12, 1984, in South Africa. She spent her childhood with her grandparents, moving between the townships of Shoshanguve, Mamelodi, and Atteridgeville. Although she and her sister are often mistaken for twins, Phuti is the younger of the two. At the age of six, she began participating in beauty pageants, eventually winning the Miss SA Teen title in 2002.

Career

Phuti Khomo's career in modeling began at six years old when she entered beauty pageants. In 2002, she won the Miss SA Teen title. Her acting career started with a minor role in the SABC1 soapie Generations in 2001. By 2007, she landed the lead role in Mtunzini.com. In 2012, she starred as Student Constable Dineo Molobi in the SABC2 drama series Streets of Mangaung and joined Muvhango as Carol Chabeli. Recently, she played the lead role in Entangled.

Beyond acting, Phuti Khomo has established herself in radio and television. She began presenting in 2002 on the SABC2 music show One and was the weekend voice on Yfm for over two years. In 2007, she hosted the Mzansi music gossip show Ripped on eTV, and in 2011, co-hosted the MTV series Rivals in Romance.

Phuti Khomo is also an entrepreneur and the founder of the Phuti Khomo Modeling Expo, an event for aspiring models that brings top modeling agencies from London, New York, and Paris to scout for talent.

Personal Life

Phuti Khomo keeps her dating life private, but it is known that she is currently in a relationship. While her boyfriend's name has not been made public, he surprised her with a MAN truck, a vehicle she had always wanted, on her 37th birthday in 2021, with the help of her sister and friends.
