Hamisa Mobetto - Biography, Career and Songs

Hamisa Hassan Mobetto is a Tanzanian singer, actress, businesswoman, and socialite. Apart from her on-screen presence, she is the CEO and designer of her own company, Mobetto Styles. Hamisa gained significant attention following her widely publicized relationship with Wasafi CEO Diamond Platnumz, who is the father of her son, Deedaylan Abdul Naseeb.

Early Life and Education

Hamisa was born in Mwanza, Tanzania, on December 10, 1994, into a Muslim family. She developed a passion for modeling during her childhood. Hamisa is currently 30 years old. She attended Mabatini Primary School and later went to St. Kayumba Secondary School. After finishing high school, she began her career in modeling.

Modeling Career

Hamisa Mobetto began her modeling career in 2010 after winning the Miss XXL Back to School Bash, an event organized by Clouds Radio Media's XXL Crew. This victory opened doors to more modeling opportunities.

In 2011, she competed in the Miss Indian Ocean beauty pageant and finished as the second runner-up. That same year, she also secured second place in another competition, which qualified her to compete for Miss Tanzania 2011. In 2012, she participated in Miss University Africa and placed among the top 10 contestants.

In 2017, Hamisa was nominated for the People’s Choice Award and Super Mum at the Starqt International Awards. In 2018, she won the Female Stylish of the Year award at the Swahili Fashion Week Awards. That same year, she was appointed as the host of the Miss Tanzania Beauty pageant and was also nominated for Best East African Woman Entrepreneur at the BEFFTA Awards.

In December 2020, Hamisa won the Best Female Digital Model of the Year award at the Tanzania Digital Awards.

Musical Career

In 2017, Hamisa Mobetto appeared in a music video with Diamond Platnumz for the hit single "Salome." In 2018, she released her debut single "Madam Hero," marking her entry into the Bongo Flava music industry. The song has since accumulated over two million views on YouTube. That same year, she also released the single "Tunaendana."

In 2021, Hamisa launched her own record label, Mobetto Music.

Personal Life

Hamisa Mobetto was previously in a relationship with Francis Ciza, with whom she has a daughter named Fantasy Majizzo. She later dated singer Diamond Platnumz, and they had a son, Deedaylan Abdul Naseeb, in 2017. The couple eventually separated for unknown reasons.

In September 2021, there were rumors that Hamisa was in a relationship with American rapper Rick Ross. Additionally, Hamisa revealed that she was in a romantic relationship with a married man named Alex.
